                For more than 20 years, Dr. Carmen April has been leading teams and empowering others to live their lives with intention. Honored as a Nashville Emerging Leader Award (NELA) Winner, Nashville Business Journal Top Forty Under 40 Award Winner, a 2014 Leadership Fellow of New Leaders Council, and a Graduate of Young Leaders Council-Nashville, Dr. April has proven her Leadership acumen in career and community. She’s been featured in local and national media sharing her expert tips on Leadership and entrepreneurship. She also serves as  Professional Advisor for budding entrepreneurs at the Nashville Entrepreneur Center, a Professional Mentor for college students through Persist Nashville and a mentor within her Sorority chapter for new members. Dr. April’s expertise in Leadership, entrepreneurship and content creation grants her the opportunity to speak before groups on these very topics. Full of enthusiasm and creativity, she shares with others the same insight that has worked well for her in becoming an Award-Winning entrepreneur and community leader!

          She is a Law of Attraction Practitioner and an advocate for the power of positive thinking! Dr. April is available for speaking engagements on Leadership & Life Leadership for College Students and Young Professionals and is the creator of the “Design Your Story” Empowerment Series.
